What illuminates our hearts

If it is the light that illuminates our surroundings, what illuminates our hearts? Why do we need to see someone whose voice we are happy to hear? Friendships, friendships that warm our hearts, why have they retreated to their caves in this century? These are really hard to understand. Best not to think at all. If he is going to think, let the person think about the beautiful, if he is going to talk, let the beautiful person speak or be silent.

A Bar Story: Ooze Bar

Last night, I was at Ooze Bar, one of İzmir's most popular Rock bars. My bodyguard brother at the entrance said, "No Rooftop Entrance!" He didn't say anything and let me in.

When I stepped inside Ooze without paying an entrance fee, I found myself in a dimly lit corridor five or ten paces long, overhead lit by Edison bulbs. On the left of the corridor were the steps leading down to the "Men's Toilet", on the right were the entrance door of the ladies toilet and at the end of the corridor 6-7 steps leading to the upper floor. Yes.......Here....love at first hearing.....always ...."in these corridors" begins. You stepped into the bar, entered the corridor, saw the WCs. Maybe your toilet has come, maybe you are going to comb your hair or wash your face, but you can give up all of this at once. If the band playing upstairs is playing your favorite piece perfectly and you have heard this excellent performance while you were in the hallway, your choice is not to dive into the WC, but "Who could this solid band be?" you use the steps leading to the upper floor to take a quick step. But frankly, it wasn't like that for me that day. When I was in the hallway, all I could hear was the band's "soundcheck" squeaks and groans like "Tırrın! Mırrın! Ciralay! Turolay! Ses! Seee! Saay!" by the band on stage. Result : I dived straight into the WC!

When I finished my work in the WC, I went upstairs and found myself in a large hall. It was a hall the size of two penalty areas. The only entrance to the hall was the stairs I was climbing at that moment. Looking ahead from this entrance, you could see the stage 20 meters away. The stage was 1 meter high. There was a DJ booth behind the stage. There was a door on the right side of the DJ booth and the stage, the clothes, equipment, etc. of the bands were in the room behind this door. Right in front of the stage, at the very end, that is, when you go up the stairs, there is a bar counter at the back on your left, another bar counter on the right before you come to the stage, liquor bottles, all kinds of barrels, etc. existed. In the middle of the hall, there were 8-10 tables and about 30 chairs, on the left and right of the hall, on the top floor and on the tables and chairs. These floors were accessed from the stairs on the right and left of the stage. Upstairs seemed like the ideal place to watch people having fun downstairs when the bar was crowded.

When the band on stage started playing their first song, "my drinking glass and I" took our places at one of the front tables. The four-member band, consisting of bass, drums, guitar and vocals, were playing classical alternative tracks. They were neither very good nor very bad. As of 23.15, there were only 20 people in the 300-seat place, but whatever, the next group's fans would fill the venue and even turn it into a carnival. From what I heard, this was it. Indeed, when the clock showed 00.30, there was an apocalyptic crowd in the bar. As the stands were in the Fener-Galatasaray derby, it was the same in OOZE.

The new band on the stage knew their job well, they were performing the pieces of the bands that young people like very much, such as “Muse”, “System of a Down”, “Manga”, close to the original. Playing popular songs excited the young people who had a drink and loved ones with them, and made them sing along to the cheerful songs and dance wildly. As the minutes progressed, the thought of "I guess I'm in heaven" was getting stronger. At least that was the case in the picture.

About 60 percent of the crowd was male and 40 percent female. About 99 percent of the dancers were female and 1 percent was male. The men in Ooze preferred not to dance but rather to rock to the rhythm. Maybe for rock music, “headbang!” Except, since no proper dance figure had been invented until now, men were content to swing instead of dance. For women, figure and figure made no difference. They were hopping, jumping, spinning. The figures of their dance, whether they fit the music or not, were not important to them. The important thing was that they had friends with them and that they could smile and have fun.

I think I was the only one there, among more than 300 people, who tried to dance with figures that matched the rhythm and melody of the music, and who took dance and music seriously. For everyone there, including the band playing, music was a means to have fun and be happy. For me, it was an escape, holding on to life, forgetting loneliness. I thought so because I was the only one who got there alone. When the bar broke up, I was the only one who left the bar alone. Blessed loneliness was something that only happened to me in bars. In the morning, I would get up early again and get my job and my friends...

The Rain

The rain was pouring down on thousands of cars stuck in the traffic of the 5th Bosphorus Bridge. It was as if the rain were saying, "Now, put your fears aside, get out of your cars and meet me with the raindrops and relax, remember the Creator, the Supreme Creator." At least that was the case for Murat, the driver of the 1974 yellow Volkswagen. He got out of his car, ignored the pouring rain, closed his eyes, stood by his car with his arms wide open. He waited; By letting the drops rain on him, he showed that he had accepted the rain's invitation. He was wearing a long-sleeved, thin black shirt, underneath it gray linen pants and black rubber sneakers. Many would say, "The beautiful dresses are gone!" for this situation, but Murat said, "Let the clothes get better and more washed!" was in the understanding. It rained, it rained, it rained. Drops started pouring all over his face, hands, arms, shoulders, legs, feet. Murat felt a deep peace within him. Drops pouring into Murat was just like the captain of a long voyage, talking to the passengers one by one and comforting them before the voyage. Murat was really relieved, there was no trace of the stress of the traffic anymore. He thought he had surrendered himself to the Supreme Creator. And that thought, along with the rain, gave him peace. The rain stopped shortly after Murat thought about these thoughts. The forecasts of meteorologists had come true. The rain lasted exactly 1 hour 12 minutes 25 seconds from start to finish as expected. But Murat was unaware of this. At that moment, thousands of people sitting in their cars watched the weather from the digital TVs in their cars or from their pocket computer-phone combination devices and heard the moment of the rain stop. However, this news was of no use to them. There was no traffic. A chaos dominated the traffic, caused by thousands of different thoughts and movements of cars and the people in them. The rain had also helped block the traffic from the chaos.

It did not occur to anyone that the reason for the rain to stop was the act of a brave heart. No one had time to think about a brave heart that accepted the rain's invitation. Everyone was in the understanding that we should mind our business even if the rain is over and the traffic is open. They were in trouble of life, trouble of property, trouble of money, trouble of business, trouble of lovers, trouble of career. No one thought that the one who stopped the rain could be the Supreme Creator. It was to this extent that the threads were severed between the Creator and the son of man. Everything was expected from reason and science. The influence of heart and inspiration on society was greatly diminished. At least that was the case for now.

When the rain stopped, Murat got into his car, soaking wet. He sat in his chair. His seat was also wet, but it was rain water, after all, it was a mercy. Didn't a little chair need mercy too?

Traffic also started to clear up. The cars started to move one by one. Murat started the engine of the car. He stepped on the gas lightly, or thought he did, when the Vosvos shouted “VRAOUM!” from its powerful rear engine. He rushed forward as if rearing at the sound of his voice. Murat quickly pressed the brakes to avoid hitting the car in front, and Vosvos stopped just before hitting the car in front. The people in the surrounding cars were not aware of this minor circumstance. Their cars were quiet and safe inside, and they were indifferent to what was happening around them. No one knew whether technology had made them irrelevant or whether they had developed such technology because they were uninterested. They didn't seem to accept if you greet them.

When the traffic cleared and the cars started to move forward, the Yellow Vosvos also started to move forward. For some, there was nobility in the progress of Vosvos, which was weak, feeble, long outdated for some. It was small enough to get lost among the cutting-edge cars, but the sound of its engine was a sound of rebellion against this society, this life, this technology. There was kindness and happiness in his image and agility in his movements. It was like the last stronghold resisting civilization in rebellion. Murat and the yellow Vosvos continued to advance in the opened traffic. A new life full of adventure awaited them. They saw the invitation of the rain as a sign of this.

Life starting again

It was nice to sleep, he thought. Yesterday was one of the worst days of his life. He didn't know how many living things he was, but he died yesterday and was resurrected today. He made up a word. “Even if it is the worst day, if the morning ends and one can reach the night, if a person can go home, go to bed and fall asleep, there is still hope for a good day”. Then he remembered a quote he had read in the book. “It is He who makes you cry, He who makes you laugh, He who kills and He who resurrects”. He thought. He understood that there was no need to be sad, that neither pain nor happiness was in his own hands. He got up, went to the bathroom, washed his face. He looked in the mirror. He could hear the sounds of cars outside. Today life started again. He knew that the outside world did not belong to him. He knew that the world outside was not the world of his dreams. But what did the book say, “You will finally meet God!” Then he thought that this world would end and he would be able to reach the owner of all beautiful names and the paradise he promised. He relaxed a little. The thing that prevented him from getting any more relief was the world he lived in with all its reality and the fact that he was the only one who read, reminded and said the words in the book. He thought that movies should be made. He thought, with these films, he should tell that not the world but the Almighty Creator is beautiful, that the heaven he promised, the paradise without empty words, is beautiful.

Making Life Better

Again, there was a feeling in his heart that he couldn't describe. Although this feeling was foreign, there was something he knew about this feeling. It's a bad feeling that hurts your heart. It wasn't like his previous bad feelings. He had developed a strategy for all of the previous bad feelings. With these strategies, he thought that "evil was completely gone from him". But now he was helpless. This bad feeling he never knew was lodged in his heart, and he had no specific knowledge that he could use for this situation to "restore goodness and beauty to your heart". Then he thought.. Either he will “despair and do nothing will cause the bad feeling to grow”, either “he will be relieved by doing an evil that the bad feeling brings and demands”, or he will “take another job with little hope and wait for the bad feeling to pass” or “ With great hope, he would search for the cause and solution of the problem, find it and relax”. There was another method that came to mind, it was an event that caused a bad feeling, so if he "does an action that creates a good feeling", the bad feeling in his heart could disappear. But his location and lack of time prevented him from taking action. Whatever he was going to do, he had to do it fast. Then he realized his mistake. The book was not with him. If he had the book with him, he would surely have found “a word to help him remove the bad feeling in his heart”. In fact, he was trying to take the book with him every day, but for some reason something got in the way and some days he forgot to take the book with him. As the number of these days increased, he lost the habit of taking the book with him, and the usual "habit of wandering without a book" came instead. Then when he faced a problem, when he felt an unaccustomed bad feeling in his heart, he switched to "I need to carry the book with me" mode. So what would he do now? “He would remain undecided and wait until he saw the right path” or “He would decide, be determined and choose a path, even if it was wrong”. Sometimes waiting meant patience and winning, sometimes waiting meant accepting injustice and defeat. Was it right or wrong to wait?

Butterfly

O beautiful butterfly
You have a boyfriend
always protecting you

In that case ..
What do you have to be afraid of

O beautiful butterfly
You have a boyfriend
loves you so much

In that case ...
What do you need to be upset

We Are Warriors

we are warriors
we are connected
to our hearts

we are warriors
is your enemy
to our freedom

we are warriors
we are used to
To our quarreling loves

we are warriors
Lives in our dreams
We die by our faith

This sun that warms us
born with our loves
sinks with our sorrows

Struggle

I can't lend my tears
I can't sharpen my rusty swords

I can't die for love anymore
'Cause there's no more my dear
The last one too
I reserved for myself

i'm not there anymore
in quarrels for no reason
In unanswered questions
And in dirty dreams

I allow now
to get lost
my mortal love

I believe because
However, by this
It will wear out less
My old tired heart

Prisoner

Loneliness is as painful as death
Peace is a messenger from heaven
Don't miss your prayer, O traveler!
May eternity cover your soul

You can find a comrade but a soul mate is hard
You can find a lover but
your source of joy
smile white,
hello god
It's hard to find a mate

You're trapped, stuck
To a corner of the monotonous world
You left justice, love and brotherhood
To the angels of the other world

You lost your courage, you surrendered
to those who favor you
Believe it my friend
One day will come
You will say 'I am valuable'

Wolf, Lamb and a Rifle

I had an old rifle,
But it didn't matter that he was old
I'll shoot for the wolf 'cause it was a novelty

He had not seen the bullet entering the brain until then.
The wolf who always says "I'll eat the lambs"

Lambs couldn't get down in your stomach, this time you were a wolf
Because the bullet with his name on it entered his brain
Overturned and gone

At last the lambs were saved
and they found their shepherd

Reminder of the expelled devil

The expelled devil is always suggesting that you are okay, and it charges you negatively. So what do I have? You should say, identify what they have. The exorcised demon is making you feel unsuccessful in what you specifically aimed for but failed to achieve. You should know that the real success is to enter Paradise. Even if you believe in yourself and in the way of Allah, your faith is shaken because people do not believe. It is enough for God to believe in you. Allah is sufficient as a Friend and Helper.
